These pieces are created from the parts old and broken washing machines ( metal and mixed media.) As a mother my life has at times seemed to be dominated by the washing machines and the cycles of laundry. Vera is currently devoping these ideas to incorporate kinetic elements. The figures stand between 1.5 and 2.5 metres high. ( Click on thumbnail to view full image.)
